11月9日，美元指數觸及價格低點，現貨黃金在尾盤階段也觸及了新的高點，相對於其他貨幣，黃金對投資者更具吸引力。同時美國政府將推出更多經濟刺激措施來支撐黃金，美元受到推動下跌。
分析師表示，美國政府推出更多刺激措施的可能性繼續支撐黃金，並推動美元下跌，這可能是金市另一波較長牛市的開始。
意見分歧的參議院將意味著財政刺激法案很難通過，因此市場可能仍會有一點猶豫，但這可能會迫使美聯儲採取更多貨幣刺激措施。
國會分治的前景還意味著對美國出臺財政刺激方案的預期降溫，這使得市場更加預期美聯儲會採取更多措施以重振經濟。
鑒於黃金在對沖通脹和貨幣貶值方面的吸引力，史無前例的印鈔和全球低利率令其有望成為10年來表現最好的一年。
由於經濟背景是由疫情推動的，投資者將繼續看到低利率和美元走軟，這應有助於黃金表現相對較好。
金價走勢反映出投資者的下列判斷：保守的共和黨政府在財政刺激方面將比民主黨拜登政府更為謹慎。因此拜登勝選將推高通脹預期(同時隱含實際利率和債券收益率將處於低位的預期)，從而利好於黃金，將促使投資者湧入黃金市場。
乍看之下該判斷似乎言之成理，但我們並不認為美國總統選舉結果將對中期內的黃金走勢產生重大實質性影響。雖然近期內不確定性加大很可能會導致市場波動性進一步升高——如果就選舉結果發生對抗激烈的法律爭執，則更是如此，但我們認為無論明年1月哪位總統候選人宣誓就職，金價的看漲前景仍然存在。
與此同時，在可以預見的未來美國目前的超低利率環境預計仍將是常態。低利率環境，美國不斷膨脹的債務，以及資金最終流向新興市場，將繼續令美元承壓。以上因素作用下，我們認為黃金漲勢仍將持續一段時間。預計最早在2021年一季度金價將再創歷史新高，到年底前將升至峰值。
