美政府停擺推動避險，金價觸及4000關口
昨日亞盤時段金價於3960一線位置開盤，經過一段時間的震盪整理過程後，價格向下回調，在下方3940一線位置找到支撐後反彈，晚間美盤時段金價雖於3990位置短暫承壓，但下方3962位置存在有效支撐，隨後價格進一步走高，截至目前最高觸及4000整數關口。
特朗普會見卡尼 再次暗示將吞併加拿大
正在華盛頓訪問的加拿大總理卡尼當地時間10月7日與美國總統特朗普在白宮舉行了卡尼就任總理以來兩人的第二次會晤。這次會晤長達兩個半小時，加拿大希望能就雙方的貿易和關稅問題達成一些重要共識，為兩國最終達成一項新的經濟和安全協議鋪平道路。卡尼在橢圓形辦公室接受記者採訪時列舉了特朗普在第二任期內取得的一些成就，當卡尼說到“在許多方面中最重要的是”時，特朗普趁卡尼停頓插嘴道：“以及加拿大和美國的合併。”卡尼隨即表示：“我可沒想那麼多。”幾個月來，特朗普多次公開提出“吞併加拿大”的想法，並表示願意通過“經濟力量”實現這一目的。

美國消費者信貸增長創六個月來最慢
受信用卡餘額下降的影響，美國8月消費者借貸增長步伐為六個月來最慢。美聯儲週二公佈的數據顯示，繼7月數據修正為增加181億美元之後，8月消費者未償信貸總額增加3.63億美元。此前預估中值為增加140億美元。信用卡等迴圈信貸餘額減少約60億美元，部分回吐了7月的強勁增長。購車和學費等非迴圈信貸增加63億美元。該報告不包括抵押貸款。
