媒體：日本明年將開始開採深海稀土
據媒體報導，日本將從明年1月開始，在一個首創的試點專案中從海上礦床提取稀土礦物。據悉，日本海洋研究開發機構將把深海科學鑽探船“地球號”部署在距南鳥島海岸100至150公里處，南鳥島是東京東南約1950公里的珊瑚環礁。將一根管道將下沉至海面以下5500米的海底，收集35公噸的泥土。如果成功，這將是全球首次從如此深度回收稀土的船隻作業。
法國84個省份發佈熱浪橙色警戒 核電站停運
法國氣象局30日說，當天全國四分之三地區最高氣溫超過35攝氏度，局部地區氣溫高達40攝氏度，已有84個省份發佈熱浪橙色警戒。據法國氣象局介紹，本輪熱浪自6月19日以來席捲法國，目前仍在持續。7月1日將是本輪熱浪中最熱的一天，最高氣溫預計達到36至40攝氏度，局部地區或達41攝氏度，將有16個省份發佈熱浪紅色警戒。當地媒體說，法國已採取停運核反應爐、學校放假、建築工地實行彈性工作時間等措施以應對熱浪。法國電力公司30日證實，已於29日晚暫時關閉南部的戈爾費什核電站，以防作為反應堆冷卻水來源的加龍河河水過熱。
