風險意願回升，美元黃金下跌
周三(7月21日)美元指數五個交易日來首次下跌，因避險需求隨美債收益率和美國股市攀升而降溫；大宗商品貨幣領漲G-10貨幣，挪威克朗、加元表現最佳。金價連續第二個交易日下跌，至逾一周低位，10年期美債收益率繼續從5個月低點反彈，抑制了對貴金屬的需求。油價漲逾4%，美國俄克拉荷馬州庫欣地區的原油庫存降至18個月最低水平，抵消了美國上周原油庫存出現5月中旬以來首次增長的影響；美國三大股指收上漲和EIA燃料油庫存下滑都利好油價。
EIA報告：美國上周除卻戰略儲備的商業原油庫存增加210.7萬桶至4.397億桶
美國截至7月16日當周，汽油庫存減少12.1萬桶，精煉油庫存減少134.9萬桶；美國國內原油産量維持在1140萬桶/日。除卻戰略儲備的商業原油上周進口709.7萬桶/日，較前一周增加87.6萬桶/日；美國上周原油出口減少156.2萬桶/日至246.3萬桶/日，出口量為2021年5月7日當周以來最低。
鮑威爾的連任獲得拜登高級幕僚們的廣泛支持
據悉，美聯儲主席鮑威爾的連任問題已經在白宮的高級顧問層面獲得廣泛支持，哪怕仍然可能需要到2021年稍晚才能做決定、而總統拜登迄今也尚未掌握相關的建議。拜登的官員們對白宮如何作出關于美聯儲高級官員的人事任免持開放態度，值得一提的是，美聯儲金融監管事務副主席誇爾斯（兼任美聯儲理事）的任期即將于10月份屆滿，理事克拉裏達（兼任副主席）任期將于2021年1月份屆滿、屆時鮑威爾也將任期屆滿。
美國參議院共和黨人暫時阻止對基礎設施計劃啓動辯論
美國參議院共和黨人阻止了對尚未定案的5790億美元基礎設施計劃啓動辯論，拒絕了多數黨領袖查克·舒默在兩黨談判人員艱難商議細節的同時推進該法案程序的努力。投票結果為49-51，遠低于啓動辯論所需的60票。舒默自己投了“反對票”，以便未來可以再次提出該法案。參與談判的中間派共和黨人表示，他們需要更多時間來敲定細節。他們說，到下周初，應該有足夠的票數來提出該提案。
