黄金受到美元牵制，欧洲经济面临新一轮考验

5月29日，黄金多头反击夺回上一个交易日的跌幅，但美元指数也处于上涨趋势，抑制了金价的上涨。但市场担心中美贸易争端进一步升级，加上最近欧元承压，对美元构成支撑。而欧元区经济以及欧盟政局不确定，让欧元面临更多风险。
围绕中美贸易冲突进一步升级的担忧促使投资者转向避险资产，投资者担忧北京可能利用其主宰稀土供应的有利地位，作为在两国贸易战中讨价还价的重要筹码。
中国发改委有关负责人就稀土问题表示，如果有谁想利用我们出口的稀土所制造的产品反用于打压中国发展，中国人民都会不高兴的。人民日报周三发表署名文章，奉劝美方不要低估中方维护自身发展权益的能力，“勿谓言之不预！”
据报道，近日美国财政部公布半年度汇率政策报告，认为包括中国在内的美国主要贸易伙伴均未操纵货币汇率，但把中国和其他八个国家列为“被观察国”。
对此，在周四的中国外交部例行记者会上，发言人陆慷表示，报告中的结论符合国际社会共识，同时建议美方不要对他国汇率进行单边评估。
欧元兑美元下跌0.05%至1.1155，距离上周四触及的将近两年低点1.1107仍然不远。分析师警告，因欧洲政治前景方面的不确定性，使得欧元面临更多风险。欧元走低亦支撑美元。
欧盟委员会在周三要求意大利解释导致其公共财政状况恶化的因素，因为欧盟执行机构正在准备的报告，可能奠定对意大利采取纪律行动的基石。
更糟糕的是，意大利结构性赤字自2015年以来每年都在增加。除非政策发生改变，否则今年将达到GDP的2.4%，2020年将大幅升至3.6%。而根据欧盟法律，意大利结构性赤字每年应缩减GDP的0.6%，直至达到平衡。
如果罗马当局一再无视欧盟要求其财政可持续发展的呼声，该国可能面临约35亿欧元的罚款，约占该国GDP的0.2%。当然这需要时间，目前在政治上不具可操作性。
在上周的欧洲议会选举中，意大利执政联盟中的疑欧派民族主义政党获胜后，意大利日益面临被欧盟孤立的风险。
