美國製造業資料略好于預期，金價維持千六關口附近

3月2日晚，美國公佈了2月ISM製造業資料情況，資料結果顯示稍微好於市場的預期，而在資料公佈後，現貨黃金維持在千六關口附近，想要有更多變化，需要更多因素的刺激。
具體資料顯示，美國2月ISM製造業PMI實際公佈50.70，預期50.5，前值50.9。其中分項，美國2月ISM製造業就業指數實際公佈46.90，預期47.5，前值46.6。其中美國2月ISM製造業物價支付指數跌至去年10月以來最低水準。
分析指出，美國製造業和服務業活動2月雙雙陷入停滯，因對公共安全問題造成經濟影響的擔憂不斷加重。不過，其他美國資料相對樂觀，初請失業金人數保持在低位，美國經濟目前已連續11年錄得增長。
分析師指出，雖然當前不會排除第一季經濟增長進一步放緩的可能性，但也很難相信經濟正處於衰退邊緣。分析指出，公共衛生安全問題，導致旅遊等行業的需求疲軟，以及出口下降和供應鏈中斷。企業對支出持謹慎態度，因擔心11月美國總統大選前出現更廣泛的經濟放緩和不確定性。
受公共衛生事件影響，全球客運需求將出現2009年以來首次下降。同時此前蘋果公司發出了營收預警，稱iphone供應將受到公共衛生事件影響，截至3月份的季度營收目標將無法實現。
由於全球製造業產業鏈高度整合，全球公共衛生事件等不確定性因素可能會對全球製造業造成負面影響，並在美國的製造業資料中有所體現。
美國1月營建支出錄得近兩年來最大漲幅，但在新冠肺炎疫情可能會拖慢全球經濟增速的陰影下，這一令人樂觀的消息黯然失色。今年1月，美國私人營建項目支出躍升1.5%，創下2018年2月以來最高水準。較低的抵押貸款利率正在支撐著美國的住宅建設，住宅投資在連續六個季度出現萎縮的後，於2019年下半年開始穩步增長。
