美元跌至二个月低点，黄金连续走高
周三(1月12日)美元指数跌至两个月低点，美国CPI数据显示通胀率创下近40年来最高，支持美联储今年至少加息3次的预期；G-10货币兑美元普涨；美债市场对通胀数据反应不大，因为收益率自年初以来已经大幅上升。COMEX黄金期货连续第四个交易日上涨，并创今年以来的最高收盘价，美元和美债收益率走低，令金价得到支撑。美油尾盘涨近2%，并收于两个月来的最高水平，美国上周原油库存降幅超出预期，令油价得到支撑。
美国12月CPI同比增长7.0%，创1982年6月以来新高
美国劳工统计局公布数据显示，美国12月CPI同比上涨7.0%，增速再次加快，这是自1982年6月以来最快的涨幅，同时也高于前值6.8%。这已经是该数据连续八个月达到或高于5%。12月核心CPI增长5.5%，创1991年2月以来的最高水平。在细分类别中，大宗商品、新车、二手车和卡车的价格涨幅最大。能源涨幅实际上有所减小。
美联储金融监管副主席提名人：美国通胀太高，遏制通胀是工作的重中之重
美联储理事布雷纳德周四（1月13日）出席国会参议院银行业委员会关于她提名资格听证会的讲稿中表示，让过高的美国通胀放缓是美联储最重要的工作，优先任务是保护经济增长、帮助复苏，支持那些对诸多（金融）条件作出响应的货币政策，承诺将维持美联储的独立性和无党派属性、承诺将维持金融系统的韧性。此前，拜登已经提名布雷纳德为美联储负责金融监管事务的副主席。美联储主席鲍威尔本周已经出席了关于自己连任提名资格的听证会。
