美元持稳黄金创近三周新低，抛储不及预期布油大涨3%
周二(11月23日)美元指数基本持稳，稍早触及96.61，为去年7月以来最高水平；美元兑日元四年多来首次升破115。随着美元与美债收益率走高，黄金期货录得连续第四个交易日收低，并跌破重要心理价位1800美元关口，创约三周以来的最低水平。美油涨逾2%，创出两周最大涨幅，因为石油消费国联手释放战略石油储备的力度没有市场预期的那样大。
美国宣布释放5000万桶战略石油储备平抑油价
随着感恩节假期临近，美国总统拜登23日宣布，美国将释放5000万桶战略石油储备，以降低油价，解决美国内能源供需不匹配的问题。白宫表示，美国能源部将以两种方式释放战略石油储备，其中的3200万桶石油将在未来几个月内进行交易，并在几年后返回战略储备库存。而此前已获国会批准的1800万桶石油，将加速销售。
美国总统拜登：经济仍然面临挑战
拜登表示，新冠挑战导致物价上涨。石油生产国增加供应的速度不够快。释放战略石油储备将提供所需的供应。将采取必要措施降低汽油价格，汽油公司增加收入是不可接受的。
而美国能源部长Granholm也提到，拜登准备使用所有工具以应对能源价格。拜登的行动导致油价跌10%。供需之间不匹配。美国正在运行的石油钻井平台减少250个。正在努力提高能源公司的产量。希望确保油价不被人为抬高。
