美元指数暴涨，英国抗疫面临失败

12月21日，现货黄金突破关口，但同时美元指数也出现的暴涨对金价形成敌营打压。由于英国疫情恶化拖累欧系货币，覆盖了美国国会9000亿美元援助方案带来的利好，英镑可能会是最大输家，加上英国脱欧谈判存在不确定性，前途一片渺茫。
美国国会两党领袖周日表示，他们已就9000亿美元疫情援助法案达成协议，为受疫情重创的美国经济提供数月来的首笔新救助，国会可能在周一投票表决。
这将是美国历史上第二大经济刺激计划，仅次于3月份通过的2.3万亿美元救助法案。这项协议是在疫情加速恶化之际达成的，目前已有超过32.4万美国人因罹患新冠死亡。
该计划将向个人直接支付600美元，将每周失业救济金增加300美元，并向小型企业提供数千亿美元的额外援助。国会计划把新冠疫情救助方案打包在1.4万亿美元支出法案当中。该法案将在2021年9月底之前为各项政府计划提供资金。
英镑兑美元重挫逾2%至六个交易日新低1.3189，连续失守1.34、1.33和1.32三个整数关口。因英国出现传播力更强的变种新冠病毒株拉响警报，全球十几个国家开始对英国航班关上大门，其中多数是欧洲国家，欧元也受到拖累，跌逾0.9%至三日低位1.2127。
意大利政府将签署相关政令，停飞所有往返英国的航班；西班牙请求欧盟采取共同举措 阻止来自英国的航班入境；奥地利禁止来自英国航班降落；科威特宣布将停飞往返英国的民航航班；希腊宣布来自英国人员入境需隔离7天，瑞士关闭与英国、南非的空中交通，土耳其宣布暂停往返英国、荷兰、丹麦和南非民航航班，葡萄牙宣布只允许该国公民及持葡居留许可者从英国入境。
时间一分一秒流逝，英国和欧盟谈判代表仍困在隧道中，英国表示欧盟应改变立场才能够为脱欧贸易谈判僵局打开一条道路。这提升了英国在未达成贸易协议的情况下脱离欧盟的风险。
此前英国和欧盟周末未能达成协议。英国方面在上周日(12月20日)坚称，欧盟应该改变立场，为脱欧后的贸易协议打开通道，但截止目前没有突破的迹象。
欧盟在英国水域的渔业权仍然是双方最大的分歧所在。英国可能在1月1日无协议脱欧的担忧，加剧了发现新毒株后被其他国家切断交通的危机。英国原本预定不管有没有达成贸易协议，都要退出欧盟。
