特朗普對美聯儲施壓，金價持續震盪
本周現貨黃金於3333一線位置開盤，周內最高一度反彈至3358附近位置，最低回踩至3311一線附近。周內價格以震盪整理走勢為主，儘管在下探3310一線位置後受支撐出現反彈，但目前價格於3350關鍵位置附近承壓，後市恐有再度回落的風險。
特朗普盟友呼籲就房貸交易調查美聯儲理事庫克，暗示其可能觸犯刑法
美國聯邦住房金融署（FHFA）局長、特朗普堅定盟友比爾·普爾特敦促司法部長帕姆·邦迪調查美聯儲理事庫克的兩筆房貸交易。普爾特在8月15日致信邦迪及司法部官員埃德·馬丁，稱庫克“偽造銀行檔和房產記錄以獲取更優惠的貸款條件，可能構成刑法下的按揭欺詐”。他表示，庫克曾在密歇根州安娜堡購買一處房產並辦理貸款，並承諾將其作為主要住所至少一年，但兩周後又在佐治亞州辦理了另一筆房貸，同樣聲明將其作為主要住所。普爾特還引用了四項刑法條款，建議邦迪調查是否存在潛在罪名。目前尚未有任何指控被提起，也不清楚邦迪是否會展開調查。
以防長批准接管加沙城計畫 德法齊反對
據多家以色列媒體20日報道，以國防部長卡茨19日批准以軍接管加沙城的作戰計畫。對此，德、法多國表示明確反對，呼籲實現持久停火並尋求政治解決方案。另據路透社20日發佈的一份民意調查結果，多數美國人支持國際社會承認巴勒斯坦國，認為以色列在巴勒斯坦加沙地帶過度使用武力。
OpenAI單月收入突破10億美元，算力嚴重不足，急需“星際之門”
據OpenAI首席財務官Sarah Friar透露，今年7月份OpenAI首次實現單月收入突破10億美元大關。Friar表示，由於GPT-5的發佈以及新的訂閱服務推出，算力仍然不夠用面臨巨大壓力。所以，這也是OpenAI聯合甲骨文、軟銀等投資5000億美元打造全球最大算力平臺“星際之門”（ Stargate）的主要原因。
“出走”議員回歸 美得州通過關於重劃國會選區的法案
當地時間8月20日，美國德克薩斯州眾議院通過關於重劃國會選區的法案。該選區劃分圖應美國總統特朗普的要求繪製，旨在明年的中期選舉為共和黨增加五個席位。 今年7月中旬，美國總統特朗普敦促得州共和黨人通過國會選區重劃，使共和黨在明年中期選舉中多得5個國會眾議院席位。由於共和黨以壓倒性優勢掌控得州州議會，在缺乏其他“阻止工具”的情況下，50多名民主黨州眾議員8月初集體離開得州前往外地，使得州眾院無法達到立法所需法定人數，州眾議長伯羅斯多次召集立法會議失敗。
