黄金ETF的四类投资需求

一：资产配置的工具。黄金价格在近期的断崖式下跌导致看空情绪弥漫，部分人认为黄金目前不值得投资。马克思曾说过黄金天然不是货币，但货币天然是黄金。一旦发生战乱等极端情况，黄金实物就是最后的货币保单。出于风险分散的目的，配置一定比例的黄金，如5%到10%还是有必要的，就此，实物挂钩的黄金ETF具备一定优势。需要提示的是，若对黄金存有较大的看空疑虑，可继续跟踪观察，或将配置比例保持在可承受的风险范围内。
二：投机乐园里的玩具。若满足相关要求，黄金ETF将有望成为融资融券标的。参考交易所对国债ETF开放二级市场T+0的先例，黄金ETF作为创新产品也极可能实现同样的高效交易。若上述情况发生，投机者将拥有费用低廉且高效的黄金波段把握工具。当然，投机风险同样不可忽视，国内黄金价格跟随外盘价格波动，隔夜黄金剧烈波动及国内投资者对价格影响因素变化是否能及时捕捉的风险不容小觑。
三：投资实物黄金的通道。近期黄金价格暴跌后，出现了金店销量骤增的现象，原因可能是刚需提前释放和实物投资需求等。黄金ETF作为连接证券市场与黄金实物的桥梁，也可以更便捷地满足此类需求。此外，法规所限不能直接投资实物黄金的机构也可通过黄金ETF进行间接投资黄金。
四：对冲套利者的新武器。黄金ETF的引入，可望连接国内黄金现货和期货市场，为黄金套利者提供新的工具。但黄金现货期货市场与黄金ETF交易时间不完全重合，此外，外盘黄金24小时交易、中国证交所仅交易6小时，交易时间的差距可能会影响实际套利效率。
