伦敦金锁单操作也称作伦敦金锁仓操作，所谓的锁单和锁仓，其实都是同一个概念，锁单操作的直白含义，就是交易手数相同，而交易方向相反的两张未平仓交易单，伦敦金锁单操作，对于新手来说是一件非常头痛的事情，因为不知道锁定了利润或亏损以后，应该如何解锁，怕解锁以后，由盈利化作亏损，或者是亏损随之更大的了。
适合伦敦金锁单操作的情况有哪些，一是我们找不到明确的方向，一下子看错行情后，于是把单子做反了，作出锁单决定后，可以等待方向明确了再解锁，解锁的情况要针对伦敦金行情和所挂单子的情况而定，当锁单数量很多的时候，就要分批解锁，逐步减少锁单。
可以针对不同的伦敦金行情趋势来处理伦敦金锁单，当盈利的时候，此时锁仓就是锁盈，无论行情再怎样变化，盈利至少已经锁住了。当亏损的时候，此时锁仓就是所亏，同样此时的亏损值不会因为行情变动而增大。
以下举出一个伦敦金锁单操作的例子
假设我们在1300美元做空，在1292平仓，点位盈利为8美元，但如果在1296做空，而形势发生反弹，金价不降反升，这时候我们将面临亏损。

我们在1300美元做空，而1292暂不平仓，且在1292点位反手做多
此时有几种情况
假设行情一直在下跌的趋势
1、金价从1292下跌，多单亏损，但在1300做空的单子正在盈利，当做空的单子设定的盈利目标低于1292时，则达到空单扩大利润，从而与多单造成的亏损相抵。
2、当金价在1292上涨，1300入市的空单盈利逐渐缩小，而多单开始增加利润，也达到了盈亏平衡。
伦敦金锁单操作也是一把双刃剑，一方面我们可以借用锁单操作来进行多空单的配合，避免了在金价走势中的低点位置不知道做多还是做空好，错失交易良机，另外面对行情变动大的价格走势，借用锁单操作可以建立盈利的制高点，在反转行情中增大同等方向单子的盈利。
