虽然同为杠杆保证金双向交易，内盘的保证金投入比例占金价总额范围一般是10%-25%，外盘的保证金投入比例则为1%-5%之间，因此外盘的杠杆系数比内盘要高，资金投入比内盘要小。
以20%的保证金投入为例，内盘需20元才能交易价值100元的黄金，假设外盘的保证金投入比例为3%，我们只需3美元就能交易价值为100美元的黄金，虽然美元兑换为人民币，投入的成本相当，但对应的交易价格总额却高达数倍以上，换来的盈利总额也是放大的。
