澳大利亚矿商或收购嘉能可铜金矿股份

普氏能源信息（Platts）报导，澳大利亚矿商PanAust Ltd.周五（11月1日）表示，将以1.25亿美元的价格向嘉能可斯特拉塔（Glencore Xstrata Plc）（0805.HK）购买位于巴布亚新几内亚的弗里达河（Frieda River）铜金矿项目的80%股份，该公司也将斥资500万澳元（470万美元）向持有该项目剩余20%股份的巴布亚新几内亚Highlands Pacific公司收购7.5%的权益。嘉能可称该矿为亚太地区最大的未开发铜金矿床之一。
近期，多家矿商在商品价格下跌和成本上涨的压力下纷纷出售资产。嘉能可和日本第四大贸易公司住友商事同意以近10亿美元的价格收购力拓矿业集团持有的澳大利亚东部克莱蒙特煤矿的股权；南非大型黄金矿商金田公司同意以约3亿美元的价格向加拿大巴瑞克黄金公司（Barrick Gold Corp.）收购其位于澳大利亚的三座矿山。
资诚（PricewaterhouseCoopers, PwC）报告指出，今年上半年全球矿业部门的并购活动降温，主要因为资产减记、市场不确定因素以及商品与股票价格的下跌等冲击企业的信心。2013上半年全球矿业的并购金额年减74%，并购交易件数则是减少31%。报告指出，受到诸多不确定因素的影响，传统上对整家企业的并购交易正被合资或是分拆所取代，预期今年下半年可能还会有更多非传统或创新的并购交易出现。
