印度卢比今天贬值至历史低点，主因市场担心地缘政治紧张情势将推升油价，且在美国可能减码刺激措施，资本流入减缓下，印度进口成本增加。
据彭博社汇编印度国内银行的报价，台北时间下午2时46分，印度卢比兑美元贬值2.2%，报65.77卢比比1美元。盘中曾触及65.94卢比比1美元。卢比这季累跌9.7%，今年则计跌18%，为亚洲表现最糟的货币。
在昨天美国国务卿凯瑞（John Kerry）说，总统欧巴马将会要叙利亚政府为使用化学武器对付其人民负责后，布伦特原油今天上涨0.4%，此项谈话引发这个地区的动乱可能会使燃料供应中断的忧虑。印度使用的石油约有80%是进口，且是世界最大黄金消费国，金价本季已上涨13%。
由于金价和油价上涨，卢比可能继续承受贬值压力。卢比兑美元汇率大举贬值，应被视为买进这2种货币的良机，因为缺乏足以扭转印度经济脆弱基本面的措施。然而，Kitco News 报导，引述摩根士丹利的说法，铜矿的供应需求基本面已好转。国际铜矿研究团体上周报告，在连续7个月产量盈余后，5月份全球铜矿供应和需求初值显示，产量短缺 17000公吨。
10月交割的白金期货上涨 2.90美元或0.2%，收每盎司1544.50美元。
9月交割的钯金期货下跌 4.80美元或 0.6%，收每盎司 746.05美元。
