美国数据开好 经济温和增长：美商务部5日公布，10月份工厂订单月减0.9%至4,869亿美元，其中耐久财订单月减1.6%，非耐久财订单月减0.6%。据路透社调查，经济学家原预期工厂订单将萎缩1%。美国劳工部12月5日公布，经季节调整后，截至11月30日为止当周，首次申请失业救济金人数较前周修正值减少23,000人至298,000人，为9月7日当周以来的新低。根据彭博社的调查，经济学家的预估中间值为增加至32万人。
金价下跌 巴瑞克或恢复黄金避险账户：彭博社12月5日报导，即将于明年接下全球最大金矿商加拿大巴瑞克黄金公司（Barrick Gold Corporation）（NYSE: ABX）董事长职务的前高盛总裁索顿（John Thornton）称，恢复黄金避险账户是一项值得考虑的议题。该公司2009年斥资至少56亿美元以消除总量达300万盎司固定价格的黄金避险合约（黄金避险帐户），平均执行价格为每盎司1,070美元，藉以受惠金价的上涨。
