脱欧谈判现转机扭转颓势：周四英镑兑美元于欧洲汇市尾盘扭转跌势，暴力拉升近百点至八日高位，分析师指因德国商报报道，欧盟可能给予英国两年脱欧过渡期。英镑兑美元稍早下跌，此前欧盟首席退欧谈判代表称英国脱欧磋商在分手费上陷入“僵局”，加重了英镑面临的政治不确定性，英镑自去年退欧公投后下跌了逾12%。欧盟负责英国退欧事务谈判的首席代表巴尼尔周四称，本周的脱欧谈判未取得重大进展，双方在分手费上陷入僵局。在他的讲话后，英镑兑美元下跌逾40点至盘中低位1.3122。
注一下欧元区方面欧银行长德拉基为低利率辩护：欧洲央行行长德拉基周四为誓言维持利率在低位加以辩护，反驳德国要求欧元区迅速撤出宽松货币政策的呼声。在距离央行下次政策会议还有两周之际，德拉基表示，承诺在结束购债后“一段长时间”维持利率在当前水准，这对控制借款成本至关重要。德拉基在华盛顿参加一场活动时表示，一段长时间对控制利率预期极为重要。德拉基将在华盛顿参加20国集团会议。他的这番言论表明，即便欧元区利率决策者决定推进预期中的削减购债，但在10月26日的会议上，欧洲央行传递的政策讯息仍可能出现这一措辞。欧洲央行目前每月购债600亿欧元。
