加拿大利率不变 黄金承压下滑
现货黄金市场2016年9月8日4点整收于每盎司1344.4美元，较前一交易日相比，下跌了3.9美元，跌幅1.91%。现货白银较前一交易日下跌1.34%，报19.75美元。
加拿大维持利率不变：加拿大央行周三公布利率决定，维持基准隔夜利率在0.50%。加央行发布政策声明称，当前的货币政策立场是合适，利率决定公布后，美元兑加元短线上涨大约110点，一度刷新日高至1.2933。这提振了美元指数，从而使黄金承压，打压现货金价自高位下滑。
美联储两只“老鹰”飞出：美国里奇蒙德联储主席莱克，周三在出席国会听证会后称，美联储本月稍晚举行会议时，升息理由将是充分的。同期，堪萨斯城联储主席乔治也在听证会上称，她相信美国就业市场处于或接近充分就业状态。两位美联储官员纷纷发表鹰派言论，这或将使美联储9月升息的预期重新升温，从而增大了黄金后市下行的风险。
