美国非农生产力疲软：美国劳工部周二公布，第二季非农生产力环比年率初值为下滑0.5%，为连续第三个季度下跌，是自1979年以来最长跌势。该数据下跌直指生产率持续疲弱，可能意味着经济增长速度可能没有预期的那么快，这不利于美联储升息，从而为黄金提供支撑，有力拉升金价。
英镑隔夜遭受重击：据英国媒体周二报导称，英国央行货币政策委员会委员麦卡弗蒂表示，如果英国经济下滑情况恶化，那么有可能需要出台更多量化宽松措施，这使得英镑遭受重击，欧市盘中，英镑兑美元最低触及1.2967，此为四周以来的低位。这刺激了市场对未来经济衰退的担忧，从而提振了黄金的避险需求，提振金价。
