黄金净多仓4周以来首增：美国商品期货交易委员会8月5日公布的周度报告显示，截至8月2日当周，投机客4周以来，首次增持黄金净多头头寸。具体数据显示，黄金投机净多头头寸大幅增加10359手，至267289手。黄金净多仓现4周以来首增，这或将为黄金提供部分支撑，从而削弱上周非农对金价的打压。
亚洲股市小幅上涨：由于上周公布的美国7月非农数据强劲，提振市场信心，投资者周一蜂拥买入高收益资产，推高亚洲股市小幅上扬。明晟亚太地区指数周一上涨0.3%，在略低于上周所及一年高位处徘徊，日本股市和澳洲股市，日内带领亚股走高，沪指早盘收报2984.44点，深指报2113.89点。股市的上涨，削弱了市场的避险情绪，从而对黄金构成一定利空，使黄金承压。
