日本3月核心机械数据向好：日本内阁府周一早间公布的数据显示，日本3月核心机械订单月率增长2.9%，预期增长1.5%，前值下降0.4%。虽然日本企业对于增加资本支出较为谨慎，但好于预期的数据仍然显示日本企业的支出较之前有所增加，从侧面反应出日本经济仍处于缓慢复苏阶段中，数据提振市场的风险偏好情绪，令日股今日高开高走，且美元兑日元受鼓舞上行，间接利好于美指，这在一定程度上施压于黄金。
联储主席埃文斯言论呈鸽派：周一午间，芝加哥联储主席埃文斯发表言论，在均衡利率远高于实际利率的背景下，埃文斯表示美联储不应急于启动加息进程，而是逐步的、有条理地进行加息，并且应该创造条件以利于通胀率在两年内超过美联储设定2%的目标。此外，埃文斯还表示，美联储应将加息时点设定在2016年年初更为适合。芝加哥联储主席关于加息时点的讲话，彰显出浓浓的鸽派气息，令黄金后市看多情绪升温，刺激黄金价格扩大涨幅，并于亚盘中突破了1230.00美元/盎司关口。
