德拉基对欧元区经济前景乐观：欧央行行长德拉吉周一在欧央行年报中表示，通过对银行资产负债表的审阅，他表示对欧元区经济增长前景充满信心，且欧央行推出的宽松货币政策将支撑欧元区经济加快复苏。另外经济数据显示，昨日德国公布的3月PPI跌幅大幅收窄，表明欧元区于3月实行的欧版QE已见明显成效。德拉基对欧元区通胀目标如期回升持乐观态度，且近期欧元区经济数据总体趋好，共同提振了市场对欧元区经济恢复增长的信心，打压市场的避险情绪，令部分避险资产从金市流出，利空于国际金价。
澳联储纪要发出降息信号：澳洲联储周二早间公布4月7日会议纪要显示，委员会在4月会议上决定应谨慎地维持暂不降息，因政策委员将会进一步观察更多通胀数据的表现，以评估澳洲整体经济状况。但委员会一致同意，未来时期可能需要执行放宽政策，并称澳元贬值有利国内经济增长。会议纪要内容与澳洲联储主席史蒂文斯隔夜表态遥相呼应。鉴于国内商品价格疲软以及一季度GDP增速低于趋势水平，澳联储纪要显示出需要澳元汇率走低，以实现经济的平衡增长，澳洲兑美元日内反弹乏力，提振美元增长势头，国际金价承压。
