俄罗斯遭美国最严厉制裁：美国周三就乌克兰局势对俄罗斯两家银行实施新制裁。新制裁还包括石油公司、俄罗斯能源和国防企业以及高级官员。另外，美国还对克里米亚石油供应企业实施制裁。有报道称在宣布当日有俄罗斯军队再次向乌克兰边境集结。美国实施新的制裁使乌克兰局势陷入僵局，令黄金的避险情绪再被激起，如果形势依然无好转迹象，美国将有可能进一步扩大制裁，持续推高金价的地缘危机风险，为金价提供支撑。
伦敦黄金定盘价有望改革：伦敦黄金定价公司周三称，正在寻求第三方负责管理黄金定盘程序，或许意味着朝黄金电子平台改革迈出一步，此前，该公司已经负责全球指标的黄金定盘价长达一个世纪。并且，在伦敦金银市场协会的支持下，已启动征求意见程序，为黄金指标指定一个新的管理者。黄金定盘价的改革过程得到市场参与者的支持，使消息的可行性更被外界确定，历时黄金的定价将变得更为公开化，以达到多空平衡的价格，对金市来说是一大利好消息。
