地缘冲突四起：继上周五中国军舰在南中国海获得了美国海洋考察船部署的水下无人机，周一，俄罗斯外交部确认，俄驻土耳其大使安德烈在土耳其首都安卡拉遭到枪击，不治身忙；稍晚在柏林，一辆卡车冲向一个圣诞集市人群，导致至少九人死亡，多达50人受伤。这些消息连续袭来，提振了市场的避险情绪，从而为黄金提供了部分支撑，让金价暂时企稳1130上方。
美联储主席再度发表鹰派言论：周一，美联储主席耶伦发表讲话称，美国就业市场乃最近十年最强劲的状态，诸多迹象表明，美国薪资增速回暖，这表明美国经济正在改善，对加息构成支撑，从而提振美元小幅走高，使黄金承压。
