美国7月零售销售逊于预期：美国商务部周五公布的数据显示，美国7月零售销售持平，预期增长0.4%，前值修正为增长0.8%。美国7月零售销售不及预期，这或将成为美国今年下半年经济增速的潜在阻碍，这对美元构成利空，从而为黄金提供上涨动能，金价短线拉升逾10美元。
黄金期货惊现大额卖单：据上周消息显示，最活跃12月黄金期货合约，在北京时间13日凌晨零点四十八分，一分钟内成交量达6244手，大笔卖单砸盘，使黄金价格出现断崖式暴跌，现货金价重挫跌破1340美元每盎司，跌幅接近20美元。
