中国7月通胀数据符合预期：周二，中国公布7月份通胀数据显示，中国7月CPI年率1.80%，持平预期，但不及前值1.90%；7月PPI年率实际录得-1.70%，好于前值-2.60%和预期值-2%；中国7月CPI月率实际录得0.2%，好于预期值0.1%和前值-0.1%，表现持平或好于预期，表明中国经济发展有所改善，这缓解是市场对经济走软的担忧，从而使黄金部分承压。
亚洲股市刷新一年高点：因投资者竭力追逐高收益，使得流入新兴市场的资金规模创下纪录高位，亚洲股市周二刷新一年高点，明晟亚太地区指数上涨0.1%，此前已连涨三日，日股日经指数也在努力实现四连涨，目前升0.2%。亚洲股市表现良好，提振了市场的风险情绪，从而削弱了黄金的避险需求，使金价延续承压态势。
